Earth Day Events, Attend Tree Plantings, Celebrations & Community Programs in Ontario
This year’s Earth Day is celebrated on Thursday, April 22, with events scheduled throughout the month

Celebrate this Earth Day by connecting with our planet and giving back to Mother Earth!
From planting trees, park & river cleanups, demonstrations on recycling, crafts and more, there’s lots to do during the month of April (and beyond!). Join in and do something green in your neighbourhood. Some cities and communities have weeklong celebrations and events planned.
We all know the importance of trees for our planet’s health and this year, I am excited to see that many cities and conservation authorities have added a new green activity to their celebrations.

Tree Plantings, Pollinator Gardens and Clean-Ups
Ajax Green Living Days. Attend events between April 18th to 22. Includes tree plantings, pollinator gardening and more
Brampton Clean Up Days, Spring Parks Cleanup will take place April 1 – 30, and the fall Parks Cleanup October 1 – 31.
Brantford: April 22/ Tree Planting & Pollinator Meadows,
Burlington Clean Up Green Up Days: April 16th – 21st,. Tree plantings and cleanup.
Hamilton Community Tree Planting (April 21) Saturday at 10 AM – 1 PM
at Churchill Park, 167 Cline Ave. N., Hamilton, Ontario. There will be 300 – 500 trees waiting for you to plant. gloves and shovels are provided.
Hamilton Beach Spring Cleanup on Sunday, April 22,
Kitchener Waterloo Earth Day Festival: – ,Saturday, April 28, 1- 4p.m. Enjoy tree-planting, educational activities, live bird demons, bird box building, walking tours and more.
London Clean & Green! Mark your calendars! London Clean and Green clean-ups are scheduled for Saturday April 21st,
